The studio doesn't work for billable hours. It works for these three goals — and money is the byproduct of the first two, not their purpose.
- 01We automate your business. Forms, AI assistants, CRM notifications, marketing flows, e-shop logic — every piece of routine that steals time from your team. What we do for you, we do for ourselves first — which is how we move quickly.
- 02Reputation. Recognition. A place on the Slovak market we earned through work, not advertising. Year One was about building the base. Year Two is about letting the name walk ahead of us.
- 03The byproduct of the first two. When automation works and the name grows, money follows — but we don't optimise the work around billable hours. That would corrode the first two goals.

Origin
DevNova was founded in the last quarter of 2025 in Bratislava and operates under Slovak business identifier IČO 54730775. We started the studio as a deliberate answer to two problems we kept seeing on the Slovak market: page-builders that lock clients into monthly fees, and agencies that move slower than the businesses they are meant to serve.
The first commits went into client repositories the same week the studio opened. We close Year One with five live projects and two more in build — across web development, e-commerce, AI automation and SEO. Everything is built with our own code. Not because we enjoy it. Because it is cheaper and faster than any platform on the market.
The iron triangle
The classic delivery triangle says you can have any two of fast, good and affordable — never all three. The trade-off is real when the work is done by hand. Ours is not. Automation is the third hand — scripted brief intake, Git-deployed builds, AI-assisted content scaffolding, edge-cached delivery. The triangle bends the moment one corner stops being a person at a keyboard.

This isn't anti-human — it's pro. Our hands do what no automation can: design, voice, judgment. Everything else, the machine does.
What we refuse
- 01We migrate clients off it. We don't implement a new one. Maintenance burden and the plug-in supply chain finished it.
- 02Monthly ceilings hide cumulative cost. We'll build you code that is yours — no vendor lock-in.
- 03We send a fixed price or we don't send a number at all. 'From €X-Y over X weeks' is an insult.
- 04Care plans are optional and disclosed up front. Default is one-time payment. You're never on an auto-renew you didn't sign.
- 05You write at nine — we reply by lunch. You say yes — the first commit ships the same day, often within three to four hours.
- 06No design templates, no canned content. Every page is hand-built. This isn't luxury — it's the economics of shipping something that ages slowly.
